Chapter Program This month there will be no Technical Session due to the tour. Dinner and elections will be held at Shapiro's Restaurant located a few blocks south of Union Station on Meridian Street. The format will be individual choice through the line each person paying for their own meal. We will have a private room at Shapiro's where we will eat and conduct elections. We will then each drive to Lilly Building 328 (maps will be supplied) where a panel discussion will be held. The Panel Discussion is entitled "Partnering from Design through Construction." Topics shall be:
    * Developing a team of designers and contractors to achieve the project goals while maximizing cost savings and minimizing construction time frames. * Developing a contract format whereby all parties would share in the risks and rewards of meeting project goals. * Establishing a mind set to get the Owner, Designer and Contractor "out of the box."
The panel members will be:
    * John Guild - Eli Lilly Project Manager * Bruce Perkins - BMW Constructors * Gary Aletto - Bright Sheet Metal
The panel discussion will be followed by a tour of Lilly Building 314. For dinner reservations, please call Mac Stewart at 838-1096 by May 9th. Please leave your name and telephone number.
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Our evening at the Art Museum was certainly a change of pace and by all accounts thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you Rex Stockwell for setting up the evening for us. All your work turned out to be well worthwhile. Also, thank you Sam Reed for obtaining sponsors for the event.Without our three fine sponsors... JOHNSON CONTROLS INC, SULLIVAN & POORE INC
and SINK & EDWARDS
...The evening at the Art Museum would have been out of our financial reach and therefore impossible to consider. As for the May elections, the line-up is complete for next year. Mike Webster will be President, and elections will be held for:
    Rex Stockwell - President Elect
    Mike Keller - Vice President
    Bob Gehrlich - Secretary
Steven Rosenberg - Treasurer, replacing Dave Abbott after many many years
service.  Thank you Dave for all you've done.
I will be moving over to the board of Governors replacing John Wolfert. Thank you John for your input and advice during the 96/97 session. Mark Breuker, a recent mechanical engineering grad from Purdue, will be replacing Toni Rossi in the Student Activities chair. This will be the last of my Presidential Messages. However, I will continue on as the newsletter editor. During 96/97, we have grown as a chapter and, given the ease with which we were able to fill vacant ASHRAE positions for the coming season, it appears that we move into the 97/98 season, credibility in tact, and in great shape for continued growth.
