PRESIDENTS MESSAGE There are many things that I think about when I receive the first newsletter for the year. What interesting programs will be presented? Where is the tour? etc. However, there is always one bad thought – the summer is ending! Luckily, exciting programs have been planned! The year starts off with a BANG. Mr. Donald Colliver, the next Society president, will speak on the new weather data. A few lunch programs have been added to accommodate those unable to attend the evening meetings. The momentum propelling the programs started with our past president Bob Gehrlich and all who volunteered their time in the past year. I hope that you will consider volunteering a few hours of your time in the coming year. You will definitely receive much more than you give. Enjoy the remaining summer days, and I look forward to your attendance on October 9, 2001. M. K. Stewartc/o Energy Systems Group5420 W.
